THERE WERE NO HIDDEN FEES! Tax is a state regulated thing, and like any other car, there is also a $33 title application fee. There was a $185 documentation fee, but most dealerships have those, and they do vary from place to place, but this charge is very obviously stated on every car.
I will say I have had a lot of work done there and I always get tires from them and not one time have I ever had a problem with them. So make sure if you need work done or you need tires you go here.
The other reviews of this place are honestly very exaggerated, in a bad way. The service at Grimmel's was much better than all of the other dealerships we have been too. Staff was very friendly, honest, and helpful. I noticed both of the previous people who left reviews both posted them at the same time, and if you click on their profiles, they are both friends on Google+, and both have the same last name. I think these were 2 dissatisfied customers from the same family that for whatever reason that decided to try to bad mouth this business.
We are absolutely satisfied with our vehicle. When purchasing a used vehicle, keep in mind that it is just that. Used. That doesn't mean it is in bad shape, it just means that there is normal wear and tear. Scratches, small tears in the interior, and other minor problems do not make these bad cars. They have cars that are in great shape inside and out, and they have cars in average shape, inside and out. At Grimmel's, you really do get a fair price on a vehicle. I would absolutely recommend them to friends and family. I recommend them to you!
The cars are all in decent shape, and if there are problems, a history of accidents, etc with certain cars, the staff tells you. We worked with both Mike and Rich, and had great service from both of them. The prices are all fair, and honestly cheaper than most dealers around. The office was small, but serves its purpose. Having a lower overhead allows them to make more profit when selling a car for a lower price. This means that you aren't paying for the building and the bills that go into running this place, you pay for your car, and you pay a fair price.
Dont do gas anymore owner was too busy chewing fat to help me. Had no tires in my size.
Grimmels was able to find tires for my odd size rims. I was very pleased with this and the service, friendliness there.
Very shady dealership. They tried to charge me 500+ for tax and doc fees after saying it'd only be 220. Walked out on the spot. Salesmen had no real knowledge of the cars. Felt very uncomfortable. I sure won't be back.
